DIY Essential Oil Recipe

Almond Oil Hair Serum

All of the above mentioned essential oils can be put into mixture along with other oils such as the grape seed oil, Jojoba oil and Argon oil for the purpose of making hair serums.

One of the best serum base oils is the Almond oil and here is a recipe you could use in order to regularly maintain the health and growth of your hair.

The ingredients for this recipe are:

  • Almond oil
  • Grape-seed oil
  • Argan oil
  • Avocado oil
  • Jojoba oil

Directions:

  1. You’ll need a clean, dry bowl and then, add 4 tablespoons of almond oil. Thereafter, add 2 tablespoons of the Avocado oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil and Grape-seed oil into the same bowl.
  2. Stir the oils thoroughly until they are mixed and blended well.
  3. Ensure that you are making this preparation within room temperature to ensure integrity of the mixture.
  4. Once the oils are mixed together, the serum will be ready to use.
  5. We suggest using the hair serum after you shampoo and wash your hair thoroughly in order to maximize the serum’s effects. You can also use the serum after blow drying your hair and before styling your hair.
  6. We suggest that you use a dropper so that you can evenly distribute the mixture onto the entirety of your scalp. For every square inch of your scalp, squeeze out 2-3 drops then using a comb or your finger, apply the oil onto the entire length of your hair lock.

If you don’t have a dropper, you can simply use your fingers to apply the mixture onto your hair and scalp.

Storage

The oil mixture can be stored in a glass container and you can store it in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Each essential oil in this serum has its own beneficial effects and combining these oils mean that you are maximizing their hair nourishing and rejuvenating effects.

Final Thoughts

While there are plenty of artificial hair treatment products on the market, it is always better to go for the natural alternatives.

The best thing about preparing your own mixture is having the certainty that the ingredients you are using are all natural.

You can use your serum not only to take care of your own hair but also to take care of everyone’s hair in your family.
