Top 10 Tips for Hair Regrowth

The oil mixture will stimulate your hair follicles and help remove any toxins in the scalp as well.

It is recommended that you use this technique 3 to 4 times per week, and if possible, an overnight application once per week.

In concert with the castor oil treatment, taking Biotin daily will also encourage the best results available.

It is recommended that you take 5,000 mcg (micrograms), or less, daily.

Taking more than this can lead to serious health effects and can prevent the hair growth you are striving for.

3. Vitamins B, C, and E

In addition to B7 mentioned above, there are a variety of vitamins and minerals that also encourage hair regrowth.

One of these essential nutrients is Vitamin E. Not only does Vitamin E help regrow your hair, it also helps prevent additional hair loss in the future.

You can implement a daily supplement of Vitamin E, or also purchase a lotion for direct application to your scalp, which will help stimulate proper circulation on the scalp.

Dutasteride is an oral medication that was designed to treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, however, those suffering from hair loss can benefit from the drug because it inhibits the production of DHT or dihydrotestosterone.

DHT is highly prevalent in patients with BPH and male pattern baldness.

The second drug, Finasteride, is also used as an “off-label” treatment for male pattern baldness, as it can be used for light and moderate hair loss.

The most common medication is Minoxidil, most notably known as Rogaine.

This medication is a topical solution rather than the oral drug also known as Minoxidil and is used to treat High Blood Pressure.

This treatment option has proven to be highly effective, but your new hair will begin to fall out once you discontinue the applications.

5. A More Natural Option

Natural options are becoming more and more desirable to consumers today, and perhaps one of the most effective methods to regrow your hair could be an aloe vera mask with coconut milk or oil.

Simply mix freshly extracted Aloe Vera with some coconut milk or coconut oil and apply to the desired areas.

The mix should be a pasty consistency when applied.

Once you have completely covered the area, you can use a wrap to allow it to soak for about an hour.

Hot water is very damaging to our hair follicles, and the cold water will also stimulate your scalp.

If you are trying to reduce hair loss during chemotherapy treatments, it may help to use an ice pack placed onto your scalp during treatments.

This will restrict the amount of blood making its way to the scalp and may help prevent the chemicals from full saturating your hair follicles.
